With 18 attorneys in offices located in Pittsburgh and Philadelphia, Campbell Durrant helps employers develop proactive approaches to labor and employment issues and to cultivate and implement solutions for employment issues that will lead to successful and efficient workplaces. Our attorneys provide a full range of services to employers, including collective bargaining, litigating grievances and arbitrations, litigation defense in cases ranging from employment claims to pension disputes, appellate litigation, defending against unfair labor practices before the Pennsylvania Labor Relations Board, and before other federal, state and local administrative agencies such as the PHRC, EEOC and Department of Labor.
Our Pittsburgh Office is looking for an attorney ideally with 4-6 years of experience counseling clients on labor and employment matters. Preferred experience includes collective bargaining, participating in grievance and/or interest arbitration, participating in employment investigations, litigating employment law matters relating to employment discrimination and civil rights matters that arise under state and federal statutes, as well as pension disputes. Experience representing public sector clients is a plus.

A successful applicant must be able to provide effective and reliable legal services to clients and supervising attorneys. This position requires excellent research and analytical ability and effective oral and written communications skills. A successful applicant should possess the ability to work effectively under pressure and to meet deadlines. Strong organization skills are required. Some of the specific responsibilities that will be assumed by this position include:
· Drafting bargaining proposals and grievance responses
· Drafting research memos and pleadings
· Investigating employee complaints and drafting responses to administrative agency complaints
· Researching relevant case law, statutes, and regulations
